Degree students will study and live in the North Campus-Beijing Business School in Qijiazhen, Changping District, Beijing for first year. Then stuednts will move back to the main campus since the second year.

Overview

China Women’s University (CWU) is the first women’s higher learning Institution in modern China since 1949. It is affiliated with All-China Women’s Federation and academically administered by the Ministry of Education. It is a university specialized in women’s higher education and research in related areas.

As the largest women institute of higher learning in China, and the only one, It offers graduate degree programs and under-graduate programs exclusively for women. CWU has now 7 schools and 4 departments. Other than the undergraduate and gradate programs, CWU also offers high vocational education, adults continuing education, and training programs for women leaders, etc. The current student number studying on campus is around 5,500 from all through China. Over 95% of them are female. Dedicated to Women’s higher education, CWU is established as a new force of forming more future women leaderships in China.

School of Business Management

The School of Business Management provides 2 undergraduate programs, covering 6 disciplines: Human Resources Management, Tourism Management, Accounting, Finance Management, Auditing and Marketing. There are around 1200 full-time students who study here. The School has 2 research centers and has built up more than 20 bases for students internship out of campus. It is the board member of several national academic associations.

Graduate Programs

CWU provides a joint graduate program with other universities offering master degrees in 5 disciplines of civil and commercial law, accounting, pre-school education, sociology and finance, and enrolls graduate students independently for Master of Social Works (MSW) and Master of Pre-school Education.

Strong Subjects and Research Specialties

CWU is specialized and at its strength in the disciplines of social work, preschool education, and women’s studies. In addition, the disciplines of finance, accounting, human resources, tourism management, international mandarin teaching, computer science and English are also among the most favorite subjects in CWU.

Tips: For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit. If you are a student, you need to provide transfer certificate, leaving certificate, certificate of attendance rate issued by previous school and your current residence permit.
